Arrival and Departure
Tigh Na Mara Resort & Spa is located in Parksville on Vancouver Island, which is across the Georgia Strait from mainland Vancouver. Vancouver Island is accessible by ferry as well as air service from the Vancouver South Terminal.
Getting to Tigh Na Mara
We provide a bus service from Vancouver to Tigh Na Mara on Saturday, June 5 and returning to Vancouver on Wednesday, June 16. Return bus fare: $100 CAD/USD including the fare for BC Ferries. One way bus fares are also available.
Bus Service on Saturday, June 5
From the Airport - The bus will leave the airport at 12:30 pm. If you are arriving by plane on June 5th please arrive by 10:30 am. If this is not possible plan to arrive in Vancouver on Friday, June 4th and we can arrange for a hotel room for you.
From Vancouver - The bus will pick up passengers at a downtown hotel at 1:30 pm.
The ferry trip is 1 hour 40 minutes. We travel from Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay in Nanaimo, go to www.bcferries.com for schedule.
Flights to Vancouver Island
Flights to Qualicum Airport (20 minutes from Tigh Na Mara) from the Vancouver South Terminal are available on KD Air at www.kdair.com. Tigh Na Mara will pick passengers up from the Qualicum Airport. Please advise us of your flight so we can arrange for pick-up.
